@nphaskins I get what you’re saying, but not sure this is quite “the same”. Funeral homes are converting extra space for body storage because they can’t take the bodies fast enough—this one converted their chapel to a body storage space. npr.org/transcripts/93…

@nphaskins Unlike the opioid issue or a natural diaster, the reach of this is pretty much everyone in the community. Yeah, 9/11 or the OKC Bombing stressed out the emergency room->funeral home pathway, but the sickness/death wasn’t going to spread across the city.
@nphaskins It’s less about fear-mongering, IMO, but more about trying to underscore that everyone is at risk and the system definitely is not equipped to handle the potential if we, collectively, ignore mitigation.
