Ya know what? My toolbox at home is optimized for building IKEA furniture. If you want me to build you a house, I’m going to need some different tools.

True leadership would be working with local officials to help them, not berate them for not being able to divine a magical path around the governor’s political landmines.
This is the exact same BS that he pulled over the summer when he made hand-wavy “local officials have options they aren’t using”, then tried to gaslight Texas when cty judges decided to fine businesses by acting like it was his plan all along.

We had over 12k new cases today. Even our mutual hometown’s hospital can’t help rural hospitals anymore—no room at the inn.
