@valbartontally @NPR @WLRN Even that is hard. Austin (TX) schools are delivery new Chromebooks to any student 3rd grade or higher who requests and deploying wifi hot spots (via school buses) to needed areas of the city. Still have almost half the students no show.

    @valbartontally @NPR @WLRN The school district is now slowly trying to call every family who they haven’t seen login yet to see what is needed to get the kids back “in class”. But it’s a slow process that even they have tech is still full of gaps for many students.
