@schristakos @GovAbbott A few things: if we rely on enforcement, we’ve already lost. Speed limit enforcement is relatively rare, but I digress.

Even if any fines issued are thrown out, if 85% of businesses comply with this order, it is a net win wrt reducing spread.

    @schristakos @GovAbbott The idea that an executive order can be suspended because of special circumstances outside of a new order is fundamentally flawed. If San Antonio’s wasn’t challenged by the gov, this shouldn’t either.

    @schristakos @GovAbbott But in either case, it is about pushing people to do something for the common good. Enforcement really is the last possible step and not what will move the needle.
