@scallisoncole @MollyJongFast It’s a both and. Yes, there is an unusual summer surge of RSV, which is usually a winter thing (in TX at least) AND there is an increase in child hospitalizations due to covid.

    @scallisoncole @MollyJongFast And while Texas allowed/funded virtual schooling last year, a ton of districts dropped it pretty early. I don’t know why we have this RSV surge right now, but I’d want more data before blaming partial remote instruction.
