@SailorsBen @mattlargey @AustinISD Further in the email, they do state the SCOTX order applies to Bexar and Dallas counties. Travis/AISD weren’t part of it and Travis Cty says their mandate still in place, so AISD is following that.

@SailorsBen @mattlargey @AustinISD After SCOTX, a judge did stay the governor for two suits—one for Travis and one for all ISDs statewide.
SCOTX didn’t rule on merits, only that the Bexar/Dallas ruling that the governor couldn’t fine those counties was lifted.
@SailorsBen @mattlargey @AustinISD Assuming SCOTX always rules with Abbott, I’d wager the end result will be mandates stay and those jurisdictions will each pony up the $1k fine.
