@StanBobOP I think that’s still accurate. The sacrifice of Mass is incomplete without the priest’s reception. IIRC it harkens back to the Jewish Passover sacrifice where it isn’t complete until the sacrificed lamb is eaten. The priest, as the one offering, needs to eat. We don’t.
