100% agree with the game being suspended and it should have been from the moment of the injury. But, I’m curious on the ruling on the clock running down ~10 minutes. I didn’t see it live for commentary. ESPN’s play-by-play in the app just goes from timeout at the injury to suspended with the time…

Decades ago, I celebrated the Texas 11 fleeing the state to break quorum during a redistricting special session. I’m more cynical now. I don’t see any path that would change the outcome, and this becomes just more political theatre. The conversation is about breaking quorum, not why. Not all the other problems we have.
