@googlefi Asked about if Fi knew when the Fi-sold @LGUS v35 would get any updates—Still on Android 8 and Feb security patch. Given incorrect directions on how to update and blown off. “LG’s job, not us, go to them.”
@googlefi @LGUS Which I guess is right (except the incorrect directions on how to check for an update), but it’s crummy that buying an Android phone from Google Fi means contributing to the fragmented Android ecosystem. I figure Fi would have had @LGUS on board with at least security patches.

@googlefi @LGUS In the end, a “Nope! Not us, even though we sold, promoted, and endorsed the phone and even though we’re the company behind the operating system, buyer beware! Haha, you bought a crappy phone with a crappy version of our OS that will be never updated!”
