I’m embarrassed at how often we use “whitelist” or “blacklist” in Jetpack’s code base. I’m going through to replace it. Better late than never, but should have done this awhile ago.
Honest question: Use of “master”. We don’t use it like databases (e.g. “master” vs “slave”)–we have no instances of “slave” in our code. It’s meant more as “primary”.
I would initially think that the context means it’s okay, but yeah, I’m a white cis male so ¯(ツ)/¯.
