@TheMissionZero1 @Houston_brian California has made a lot more effort to support their universities than Texas has generally. I’ve said elsewhere that TX doesn’t budget to support education truly across the board.

Prop 4 back in 2009 or so is aiming to correct that somewhat for tier 1.
