I’ve been a little quiet about Austin and COVID recently. Basically, things aren’t getting any worse but I’m still hesitant to say things are getting better.
On the good side:
Things are trending down in Austin. Hospitalizations down to 549. ICU down to 205. Daily admit avg down to 57.

If you tweaked your mitigation efforts to be more conservative because of delta, it’s still needed.

Of course, we have a vaccine now so this is continuing to now be a pandemic of the unvaccinated. This latest spike seem to help push more people to go for it, so maybe the raw number of unvax’d people in play for hospitalizations will increasingly lower so hospitals can handle.
