@chrisfromthelc My family is amazingly German. All ancestors on my father’s side were the Black Sea Germans that were part of a mass migration from Germany to present-day Ukraine, then fled when Russia started reversing their German policy to the US.

@chrisfromthelc On my mother’s side, there’s some confirmed ancestry to England and at least one Black ancestor, probably slave-related from antebellum Mississippi.
