@IreneBa54495780 @tonyannett Non-profit doesn’t equal public charity by definition. A cash-rich school, say Harvard, doesn’t have any shareholders or owners. Any profit it makes has to go back into the institution (or charitable work). That’s a totally different thing than owners able to pocket profits.
