And here’s a comment to demonstrate just how effective microblogging can be! I pondered this when I started looking for an easy way to share what I thought about the many things I read online. I didn’t want it to be lost in (or owned by) Facebook or Twitter, but I didn’t want to clutter my blog with them or try to gain subscribers to a new venue/service. My current solution is to use Pocket Recommendations (it’s just so seamless), an IFTTT recipe for backup, and a semi-regular blog post. I would love to be able integrate them better into LindsayLoves.com.

I’m thinking of using the aside/status post format and having them specifically excluded from the main blog feed. My MailChimp newsletter already only pushes out only posts of the “standard” post format, to prevent folks getting e-mailed about a random little thing. Newsletter is not really in my mind, but I don’t want to abuse the folks who signed up previously.
