City of Austin’s Flag

Michael Kriegshauser designed a beautiful flag for the City of Austin.

Austin’s current flag… is pretty horrible. It’s simply the City Seal on a white cloth. It doesn’t inspire anyone. It doesn’t serve as a rallying symbol.

The City of Austin deserves a flag that Austinites want to display. Michael does that with his design.

A flag divided diagonally with the division from the lower left to the upper right. . In the upper/left, it is a blue plane with a white five-point star in the upper corner. The right is a plane of red. The diagonal is a thick white line.

I want to see this everywhere! I reached out to Michael for the source files, which he generously provided with permission to help increase adoption.

If you have ideas on how to spread this further, let me know!
