My pastor surmised that I was likely the only lector wearing a rose jacket on Gaudete Sunday in any Holy Cross parish in the US. (Today is one of two days in the Church that rose vestments are worn.)

Great being able to take over the brewery and spend time with family from across the country who are meeting up for our reunion in Wichita Falls this weekend. Usually, we’ve driven up to South Dakota for these reunions but they came to Texas for this one!
