Tonight, I enjoyed dinner with a handful of fellow Automatticians as well as almost all of the employees of Audrey Capital, which is Matt Mullenweg‘s angel investment and research company.
The conversations ranged from what code from 2.5 is still used in core, to how the themes directory in WordPress.org currently works and about what the next generation of the directory could be, to a new 40-attendee WordCamp coming to California later this year, to the travel schedules of which WordCamps everyone would be present or speaking over the next few months.
If you ever weren’t sure about the dedication of the people around WordPress, trust me, they (I suppose “we” is proper) are amazingly passionate and dedicated to moving forward on WordPress’ goal of democratizing the web.
