@EricMann FWIW, 7.2 is what is endorsed/recommended ( wordpress.org/about/requirem… ). WP does run on older versions too so the question is just how old should it still work. Part of it is a good way to communicate to old servers why they aren’t seeing an update.

@EricMann Otherwise, if a site on 5.6 just stops seeing updates, that doesn’t really move the site forward. And when it does get notified, how to do it so that it gets acted upon and not ignored.
