KofC issued a memo that, starting July 1, any member wearing the traditional tux/cape uniform in an honor guard will be given a written warning. 2nd offense suspends them from the honor guard for the remainder of the year. Also threatens suspension on further incident.

    Personally, I’m fine laying aside the traditional for the suit approach. As stated, new uniform is an attempt to invite younger men and be more functional. As a younger man, the fact it costs more makes it a non-starter. I was for it before the price and exclusive provider.
