@FrHilderbrand I wouldn’t go NYC to LAX by rail, but Austin to New Orleans or El Paso? It would be in play.

My wife and I did Amtrak coach from Chicago to Austin. Chicago to ~Little Rock went great. More space, could move around. But once we started sharing track with freight in TX… 😬
