@FrJacobStraub Don’t forgot about the Ordinariate of St. Peter (kept on today) and their transfer of BVM, Our Lady of the Church to Saturday to prevent the permanent outranking of it by the Pentecost octave.
@FrJacobStraub I like to imagine that Jesus in most of the Latin Rite dioceses had a task list reminder for “Ascend to Heaven” go off this morning, but kept hitting the “remind me tomorrow” until Sunday. In the NE, Omaha, etc, he wasn’t a procrastinator.
