Weather was fine. Water was choppy because of the other boats in the water. NYT (yes, they covered this) reported 4 boats sunk. Sheriff is saying, basically, “¯_(ツ)_/¯ a lot went down all at once and we need to figure it out before giving a number”. twitter.com/bobphoto/statu…

The Lake Travis Fire Fighters Association president said “We train for water rescues regularly, but this is the first multi-vessel, multi-incident water rescue that we’ve responded to not precipitated by a collision”.
