I’m all-in doing hard things to make it through COVID, but things like this really annoy me.
Yesterday, @AusPublicHealth made a big deal re models with a 100% chance of the pandemic becoming worse in ATX. 700 hospital beds needed.
Today? 38% & 200 beds.

I’m on the side of compliance with warnings, but whiplash like this makes me care less the next time the “OMG this is horrible!” message comes out because I’m just waiting for the follow-up “hmm, maybe not”.
Others will just ignore it altogether blaming alarmists.
