@jamtodTwit @BackwardsFeet @mitkw @notreallyachola @Anna_Paolicelli Where I used to work, we had two settings “auto” and “manual”. The former is what was used for most Masses, latter only when we had someone/some reason to use the sound board.

If you have the settings behind the auto tweaked right, Mass is a pretty easy event to automate.

    @jamtodTwit @BackwardsFeet @mitkw @notreallyachola @Anna_Paolicelli At least when you have a small celebrant pool (thus know where to position the mic), just piano/organ/choir, lectors who are trained on how to position/speak to the mic for that parish, etc.

    Add instruments or a place where there is a lot of minister turnover, harder to auto
