@TheMissionZero1 @Houston_brian Honest question — let’s say we throw out the existing model and start new with the PUF/HEF/etc. At what point should a school qualify for it? Even within the PUF, only UT, A&M, PVA&M qualify for direct funds, rest just for debt service.

    @TheMissionZero1 @Houston_brian That was because the state wanted to ensure “an university” of the first class (and still counts A&M as the “ag department” of that university). Should Tech be included in that? Sure, that’s a fine conversation.

    @TheMissionZero1 @Houston_brian It does, though, still make sense that all schools aren’t equal, which is 100% fine. MSU in WF doesn’t need to be a high-level research school to still fulfill an extremely needed role.
