@UpperLowerClass @FrHilderbrand There’s nothing in this tweet that says she skipped anything. Even if she wasn’t baptized, the RCIA says a Welcoming Rite should be done whenever there are those to be welcomed. RCIA isn’t meant to be an academic year program.

    @UpperLowerClass @FrHilderbrand We would hold a Welcoming Rite every six weeks or so, with people joining the weekly sessions ASAP.

    IIRC, they did go through a full liturgical year within the program before getting the sacraments generally, but absolutely they should be welcomed immediately.
