@nphaskins I used it in the context of hospitalizations, which is still scientifically sound—vaccinated people are hospitalized in far fewer numbers compared to vaccinated.

With delta, viral load peaks the same but drops off a lot sooner in vaccinated individuals as well.

    @nphaskins There are also studies that looked at not only viral load, but the amount of contagious virus vs not in that load between vaccinated and unvaccinated. There was a fair difference between the two groups yourlocalepidemiologist.substack.com/p/role-in-the-…
