Two years ago, the idea of a snow day was fun enough. The idea of a “can’t staff day” wasn’t imaginable.

Since, we had a weeks added on to Spring Break. Months away from campus. A snow week. And a lot of districts having “can’t staff” days. Now, it’s all mangled together. twitter.com/DelValleISD/st…

    Another thing that I wouldn’t have believed two years ago:

    Received an email from @AustinISD asking for input if they should do a three-hour early release on five Fridays this spring, a shorter early release on nine Fridays, or just stay in school the whole day.

    School schedules used to be pretty set. The calendar at the start of the year was the calendar. Now, eh, it’s what we blocked off but we’ll see. IDK if I’m gonna feel like it.
