@deddecco @plungeeboi @Ring__The_Bell @TomsDigest I *can* appreciate someone who is trying to “do too much”. In formation as an OSB oblate, the goal isn’t to say the _entire_ office. Maybe it’ll happen eventually, but it’s creating a prayer life that is compatible with the obligations of life.

    @deddecco @plungeeboi @Ring__The_Bell @TomsDigest Thus, the hinge offices are what is promoted with a favorable “do what you can” if you “slip”. In that vein, I get it.

    Outright “don’t pray the public liturgy of the Church” may been well-intentioned along those lines, but def landed flat.
