I’m curious if there would be cost-savings if all these uniformed Federal police agencies in DC merged? Keep the Supreme Court and Capitol Police (separate branches), but FBI Police vs Mint Police vs Bureau of Engraving Police vs National Zoological Park Police vs NPS Park Police vs…. it keeps going.

I’m so conflicted being in DC right now. I saw the plaque honoring the US Capitol Police after the January 6th attack (calling it such) and then two stories up, Mike Johnson’s office, who formed a new select subcommittee to recast the events of that day. The gaslighting is mind-blowing. #uspol

It may be illogical, but I am generally loyal to Texan companies, until they abandon the thing that made them special. Whataburger sold out. Southwest became… like the rest. Bummed about the SWA changes. They were my default domestic carrier. I don’t fly domestically enough for status but maybe time to fly the same alliance for both domestic and international moving forward. #southwest

In a first, I was in a funeral procession today that has to stop to let another funeral procession cross. And first funeral procession on the highway where the police escort let traffic drive next to/around us. Those lane changes were very stressful.
