Jetpack Social launched a Social Notes CPT as a simplified posting experience (no title, etc). Connected with the auto-publishing to social networks and the ActivityPub Fediverse native publishing through that plugin, this is a nice step closer to make it easier to make WordPress your personal home on the web.

@MaryannCorbett I’m on mastodon.online, but it doesn’t matter all that much. I did get absolutely zero traction on if any religious wanted to join a vouched-religious server ( twitter.com/Kraft/status/1… ) Thought there was it would be a perk to know that anyone on that instance was legit.
