No offense to the dead, I would like to add a setting to the NY Times app to not have breaking news alerts when someone… retired… dies.

I’ve removed all social media apps from my phone, but can still post from my wp-admin which sends it out everywhere. It’s been nice to not feel any desire to check socials until I’m in front of a “real” computer.

After seeing this, I suppose I serve a particular type of Gospel. First and foremost, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but in particular, the Gospel con Carne.

Able to squeeze out two years on recalled tires on the Transit before getting them replaced for free. The recall was due to the tires marked with the Alpine icon indicating they were certified for snow driving when they weren’t. Living in Central Texas, I never noticed, cared for, or knew about the Alpine symbol.…
