If you turn to HBO at the right time, George Carlin’s latest special Life is Worth Losing is airing. While he’s crass and many of the content he creates I don’t agree with, he is incredibly smart.
This HBO special includes him reflecting on how human beings do things to each other- sucide, murder, torture, human sacrifice- that we don’t see elsewhere in the animal kingdom and notes how we claim to be so much more advanced than animals.
I’m watching this for the first time so I don’t have anything to add to the coversation.
