@YouTooCanBeGuru I’m torn. I want to see everyone on more modern PHP. Until recently, one of the shared hosts I use would only upgrade my PHP version by migrating me to a different server (and not doing it well, tbh). If I wasn’t a geek, I would likely be stuck.

    @YouTooCanBeGuru My own box is still a mix of 7 and 7.2 b/c something on a random plugin doesn’t work on 7.2. I think it was because of the way PHP 7 was packaged for Ubuntu and needing one more package that PHP says should be automatically available.

    @YouTooCanBeGuru So, even as a geek, I’m about to fall behind with PHP EOL since I don’t have bandwidth to tinker on a personal site in the near term. So, I want 7 to be the minimum and move forward, but how can we do it while bringing a lot of regular sites along with us?
