@jdflynn @canonlawyered @PetriOP The Diocese of Austin when it published their supplemental norms defined a parishioner as someone who is EITHER living within the parish boundaries (and published a decree to confirm what those were) OR by registration. Financial contributions can’t be considered.

    @jdflynn @canonlawyered @PetriOP This was, in part, to rebuke churches who charged silly amounts for weddings. If someone lived in your parish and you never have heard from them, they are still your parishioner.
