@petrustexas UV light, UVC in particular, works to disinfect by disrupting the nucleic acids in DNA. UVC light (usually blocked naturally by the Earth’s ozone layer) would cause rapid sunburn, cancer etc to your skin. It would cause massive damage internally.

    @petrustexas The article notes there is a lack of research and knowledge on exactly what it will do to the new coronavirus, but it is an accepted method of disinfecting things…when you want to kill everything.
