@zamoose I haven’t looked but I would think the public health laws give quite of bit of authority to officials right now, e.g. the declared “public health emergency” gives the state legal authority to involuntarily quarantine a person.

    @zamoose Austin is now “recommending” restaurants who are allowing dining in keep a log of patrons to aid in contact tracing.

    I appreciate their approach. Optional, but if you don’t, “we have to broadcast that someone was infected in your restaurant to all media outlets”.
