Another rough day for Austin/Travis County. As mentioned yesterday, before this week 94 new cases was the daily record. Last three days, 118, 161, and now 133.
More worrisome. 104 Covid cases in the hospital, a new high with 24 (!!) new admissions today.

I’ve only been tracking the 7-day average for new hospitalizations (they only started publishing the daily number relatively recently), but it was enough to put us at a record 13/day-7d-avg.

Another bad day. 2 deaths putting Austin at 101. A fourth day in a row of 100+ new cases. Yesterday’s record of 24 new hospitalizations was followed by 23.
