@FrMatthewLC As far as I’m aware, none of these protests have been “authorized”. As in, pre-virus, most protest marches would have been permitted by (in Austin) the Special Events Office to coordinate traffic plans, etc. None of those permits are being issued.

    @FrMatthewLC I do find it odd the public health officials who said the protests were fine.

    I get passively allowing it, as it is a good cause and needed, but saying they are okay in the same breath as saying to only be in groups of 10, I agree, is a double standard.
