@geerlingguy I think partly “old news”, partly it is now a political question, and the false dichotomy between being safe vs opening up.
Not saying this would be the right solution, but the proposals for a monthly stimulus check would have negated some of the rationale of opening.

@geerlingguy On the political front, the Governor here in TX has made such a big deal about how we know how to handle it and he would be following a “data-driven approach” (which he hasn’t), yet keep re-opening things faster than we can get data in.
He’s put himself in a corner.
