Joined @utcatholic for the final Sunday with the @PaulistFathers. Such a sad occasion. The Paulists, of course, weren’t perfect, but they formed me to be the Catholic that I am. Holy and faithful to the Church while being open to new ideas, ways, and people.

    The Paulists founder, Servant of God Isaac Hecker said that being a Catholic helped him be a better American and being an American helped him be a better Catholic.

    In today’s time, I think that is still very true.

    I’m glad they are still at @StAustinParish.
