@FrPBehm @FrChenier @JeffTheLess I’m okay, to a point, with this. Had 3 kids baptized, had to do a class for the 4th and 5th ones (Twins), then told we needed to go again for 6th because we were 3.5 years since the last class and it “expired”.

    @FrPBehm @FrChenier @JeffTheLess Now, same for 1st communion. 1st kid in Catholic school, zero parent class requirement. Same parish, now we’re public school. 2nd kid, I had to attend a weekly class for the school year.

    3rd kid, because of Covid, they aren’t going to make me sit through the same class again.

    @FrPBehm @FrChenier @JeffTheLess But, they made really clear that was only this year. When the twins go through formation, I was told I would have to sit through the same thing again.

    I get the community aspect, but the classes requirement get silly pretty fast in too many places.
