In other news, just notified that the kids’ elementary school caught two cases of COVID during their morning check-in on the first day back after the break.

At least they allow us to go virtual. Can’t actually close b/c State forces school in session.

    We’re in the midst of the worst time of the pandemic for Austin—and it’s only getting worse—yet @GovAbbott and @KenPaxtonTX actively fight any attempt to mitigate.

    So, am I surprised that I’m getting notified of these cases at school?
