@FrHilderbrand @jncatron When you say simulate, does that mean a confirmandi is not validly confirmed?

I was baptized Catholic as an infant, but family immediately left the Church. I came back when I was 13 and my parish put me through RCIA-C. I was confirmed at the Vigil.

    @FrHilderbrand @jncatron I was always bummed b/c I didn’t realize a confirmation saint was a thing until afterward nor the right I had to be confirmed by the bishop.

    Now I wonder…
