Companies should have a process in place when they send a better offer to a customer very soon after they made a purchase. Includes credit cards with welcome bonuses.

    Pulled the trigger on a new @AmericanExpress product only to get an offer for the same thing a few days later with 25k higher bonus. Reached out, no joy.

    It leaves relatively new customers with a bad taste in their mouth. Yeah, I get why they wouldn’t respect that, but then improve your mailing systems. How often does that happen? What kind of positive love would they get if they did it?
