There have been some “direct hires” by Matt for .org who fall under his investment company audrey.co

One thing that Audrey lacks is the HR/benefits infra of a8c.

    @mor10 @automattic From being at a8c, the dotorg team (e.g. folks at a8c that are dedicated 100% to the project) do very much operate separately from dotcom (Josepha, Andrea & the community folks, etc).
