@KDimitratos @artpi @AdamSinger @AndySwan No matter the account structure, communication and shared understanding/expectations are important. Separate accounts but drastically different income can lead to situations where one of the couple can’t afford stuff while other has plenty, etc.

    @KDimitratos @artpi @AdamSinger @AndySwan There’s not a single solution that’s best for every couple and it’s illogical to suggest that one leads to more divorce than the other in and of itself.

    @KDimitratos @artpi @AdamSinger @AndySwan Having worked in pre-marriage counseling before, it’s amazing how many couples want separate accounts because of lack of trust or willingness to communicate.

    Not that everyone who wants/does separate has that issue, of course, but that’ll lead to problems too.
