@FrAndrewHart My wife and I led the marriage preparation retreat at the Univ of TX Catholic Center for 6ish years. We hit communication, family of origin, financial conversations, etc.

One of my greatest “wins” was the couple who afterward said “whoa, we’re absolutely not ready for this yet”.

    @FrAndrewHart As someone who explored the priesthood before getting married, not that I think pre-cana time needs to be seminary-long 5-7 years, but definitely longer and more formative than how a lot of society views it.
