Having listened to the meeting and the discussion about the document, then reading this article. What they did and what is said that they did are pretty damn different.

    @NanHouston1 @jdflynn I have no overall problem with secular news covering the Church. I learned Benedict resigned from NPR.

    Also, I don’t have a problem with the Catholic press, generally.

    @NanHouston1 @jdflynn But NYT articles like that or the… CNA article about the Pope cancelling Mass with Biden last week (never was scheduled).

    That’s the annoying thing. NYT is trying to frame this as the US bishops breaking from Francis (this isn’t that) or CNA making Francis sound pro-ban.
